NAE Vegan is al sinds 2008 een pionier in veganistische schoenen. Waar veel veganistische schoenmerken kozen voor materialen gemaakt van plastic, is NAE al sinds hun ontstaan op zoek naar de meest milieuvriendelijke alternatieven voor leer.

Milieuvriendelijk: NAE gebruikt materialen als kurk, biologisch katoen, maar ook innovatieve leervervangers. Zo gebruiken ze vervangers gemaakt van appel, maïs of ananas.
