From the dyeing of the yarn to the production of our favourite jumpers made of alpaca wool: our producer in Peru covers the entire value chain. What we are particularly pleased about is that social commitment and research work on alpacas and textile production in Peru are writ large here.
Alpaca
Especially fine and silky fibers make alpaca wool a noble and high-quality material. Our favorite pieces made of alpaca wool captivate with their sheen and a cuddly feel. Lanius is een merk opgericht in 1999 door Claudia Lanius met een duidelijke visie om ecologische materialen en eerlijke werkomstandigheden samen te brengen om prachtige vrouwelijke items te creëren. Lanius staat voor LOVE FASHION / THINK ORGANIC / BE RESPONSIBLE en dat kan je ook zien in hun kleding.

Eerlijke handel: Lanius werkt alleen met productie faciliteiten waar ze een eerlijke productie kunnen garanderen. Ze hebben een hechte relatie met al hun partners en de meeste van hun leveranciers zijn GOTS-gecertificeerd. Ze zijn erg transparant en hebben op hun website een pagina gewijd aan al hun leveranciers, zodat je kunt zien wie je kleding heeft gemaakt.

Milieuvriendelijk: De kleding is gemaakt van GOTS-gecertificeerd biologisch katoen dat op een milieuvriendelijke manier is verbouwd, biologische en mulesing-vrije wol en ECONYL ® 100% geregenereerd nylongaren gemaakt van gerecyclede visnetten. Ze gebruiken ook andere duurzame materialen en hebben een pagina gewijd aan al hun materialen op hun website als je andere milieuvriendelijke materialen wilt leren kennen.

Goed doel: Lanius doneert op internationale vrouwendag 10% van alle dagelijkse inkomsten aan de organisatie FEMNET.
